Ellen Van Dusen is the Brooklyn-based founding owner and designer behind the fashion, accessories, and home goods line Dusen Dusen. Her signature, bold graphic prints are developed from scratch, inspired by fine art, commercial and naive design, and the science of how our brain's respond to visual stimuli. Ellen has designed capsule collections for Anthropologie, Nordstrom, Totokaelo and West Elm, and she has collaborated with furniture designer Eric Trine on home decor. Her work has been featured in Vogue, The New York Times, Rookie, and Sight Unseen, and her clothing has appeared on the hit HBO series Girls.
In collaboration with Workshop Residence, Ellen designed a unique acrylic and Plexiglas side table and checkers set, as well a colorful, patterned set of four vinyl placemats.
