Join us next Thursday, February 27th between 6:00 - 7:00pm to see the 40 ladders made at the Workshop with resident Jerry Lee, meet special guests Deputy Chief Ken Lombardi, and a ladder demo from Truck #9.

We completed three 8' ladder workshops and start the 12' ladder class this weekend.  Jerry's students successfully shaped, hammered, and sanded their ladders. We look forward to showing you the results Thursday evening!
We are making extra ladders that are available for purchase.  They are made from turned hickory rungs and vertical grain Douglas fir.  The 12' truss ladder is $620 and the 8' straight ladder is $280.  Click here to see more!

Build a ladder with Jerry Lee
Jerry Lee has built and repaired the wooden ladders used by the San Francisco Fire Department for over 28 years.  He joins Workshop Residence to build a series of wooden ladders for your home, and hosts ladder making workshops starting February 15th. To learn more or register click here.
