About Griffin & Madeleine
Griffin received his BFA in Industrial Design from California College of the Arts. At Workshop Residence, Griffin explored a range of different metal-finishing techniques, which he used to transform mismatched forks, knives, and spoons into "matching" flatware sets.
Madeleine received her BFA in Furniture Design from California College of the Arts. Her project at Workshop Residence was an extension of her 2014 thesis project, for which she used bio-resin casting techniques to create a line of water-tight vases and bowls from the shirt sleeves of “unsellable” thrift store clothes. Madeleine lives and works in Adelaide, Australia, where she is an Associate at JamFactory, a non-profit organization which supports and promotes outstanding design and craftsmanship through its studios, galleries, and shops.
